Erhan TOPAÇ
Chairman of the Board
After graduating from Ankara Science High School, he earned his bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Boğaziçi University. He went on to receive a postgraduate diploma and master’s degree from the same faculty. He pursued doctoral studies at Boğaziçi University’s Faculty of Industrial Engineering. From 1971 to 1979, he worked as a Research Assistant at Boğaziçi University.
Between 1979 and 1985, he served in the Planning Department of Eczacıbaşı Holding fom 1985 to 1986, he worked as the General Manager's Consultant at İpek Kağıt and between 1986 and 1990, he held the position of Marketing Manager. From 1989 to 1990, he served as Marketing Manager at Pepsi Cola.
Since 1991, he has been a founding partner and the Chairman of the Board of Gedik Yatırım, actively contributing to the capital markets. Erhan Topaç currently serves as the Chairman of the Board at Misyon Bank.
Onur TOPAÇ
Vice Chairman of the Board
After graduating from the Austrian High School, he completed his undergraduate studies in Industrial Engineering at Koç University in 2013 and earned a master’s degree in Financial Engineering from Özyeğin University. Onur Topaç began his finance career at Gedik Investment in 2008 and was actively involved in the establishment phase of the Banking Division in 2013.
He held the position of General Manager and later as Chairman of the Board at HUB Venture Capital Investment Trust Inc. Additionally, he acted as Vice Chairman of the Board at Marbaş Securities Inc. from 2015 to 2019.
Currently, he is Chairman of the Board and CEO of Gedik Investment, he is also the Vice Chairman of the Board and General Manager at Inveo Investment Holding Inc., as well as the Vice Chairman of the Board at Misyon Bank.
Dr. Önder HALİSDEMİR
Board Member and CEO
Dr. Halisdemir is the founder and General Manager of Misyon Bank and is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Inveo Asset Management Inc.
During his banking career, he established Türkiye's largest privately-owned regional investment bank brand and built the holding ecosystem consisting of the first FinTechs. He has implemented award-winning financial products and projects in many sectors including the sports industry, telecommunications, transport and retail.
He continues his work in the field of civil society as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Finance Executives Foundation of Türkiye, the only non-governmental organisation specialised in finance in Türkiye, whose members include banks, financial institutions and executives.
Halit Haydar YILDIZ
Board Member
Halit Haydar Yıldız graduated from Faculty of Business Administration at Marmara University, completed his master’s degrees in Business Finance and Business Management at Istanbul University. He began his professional career at İktisat Bank and worked at Pamukbank from 1987 to 2003, holding various positions, with his last role as Head of Retail Loans and Operations Department.
Between 2003 and 2008, Yıldız served as Deputy General Manager of Retail Loans at Akbank. From 2009 to 2020, he held the position of Deputy General Manager of Retail Banking and later became the General Manager at Şekerbank. He also served as a Board Member at Şekerbank from March 2016 to May 2020.
Currently, Yıldız is a Board Member at the Turkish Finance Executives Foundation and Misyon Bank.
Dr. Sezai BEKGÖZ
Board Member
After graduating from the Department of Economics at the Faculty of Political Science at Ankara University in 1983, Dr. Sezai Bekgöz worked as an Auditor in the Surveillance Department of the Capital Markets Board from 1983 to 1992.
Between 1992 and 1998, he served as the Head of the Inspection Board at Borsa İstanbul, and from 1998 to 2007, he was the Vice President responsible for Markets, Risk Management, and Member Affairs.
From 2007 to 2016, he worked as the Deputy General Manager at Takasbank Central Securities Depository, responsible for domestic and international settlement and custody operations, external relations, and member affairs.
Dr. Bekgöz completed his postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Economics at Istanbul University and pursued a doctorate in Banking at the Banking and Insurance Institute of Marmara University.
Dr. Sezai Bekgöz is currently a Board Member at Misyon Bank.
Hasan Halim ÇUN
Board Member
After graduating from the Department of Business Administration at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Boğaziçi University, he continued his graduate and doctoral studies in the Department of Public Administration at the same faculty.
Halim Çun began his career in 1987 as a Senior Specialist in the Planning and Investments Department of Sabancı Holding. He worked in various projects and positions before returning to the finance sector. In 1998, he became the General Manager during the establishment of Ak Invest, and in 2000, he took the same role at Ak Asset Management.
He was involved in the establishment of Ak Pension Company and pension funds and participated in committees related to the distribution and marketing of the company's financial products until 2006. In 2006, he joined Gedik Investment, where he took on responsibilities in restructuring investment funds and portfolio services. In 2008, he became the General Manager during the establishment of Gedik Asset Management (after the name change, Inveo Asset Management).
Halim Çun is currently a Board Member at Misyon Bank.
Yusuf KARADAĞ
Board Member
After completing his undergraduate studies in International Relations and Political Science at Boğaziçi University, Yusuf Karadağ began his career at Demirbank and later worked at HSBC Turkey.
He continued his career as the President responsible for Regulations and Compliance at Aktif Bank and later held various positions at other banks and financial institutions.
Yusuf Karadağ is currently the Head of Internal Audit Group and a Board Member at Misyon Bank.
